Workplace Investigations and Event Monitoring

Workplace investigations are different from corporate investigations in that they are less overt and interview oriented; instead, the Rainy Day Private Investigative Services [PIS] investigator will be embedded with the rest of the already-present workforce. This is also why the term workplace investigations is sometimes also referred to as “undercover investigations” in pop culture. At the end of each work day, the investigator will write a report on the workers they interacted with, steadily building employee profiles - while also documenting any infractions or troubling behaviour.
Event monitoring can be carried out either covertly or overtly, depending on the scenario. Usually, event monitoring is carried out when an uncontrolled event is transpiring near or within a property [such as a protest or demonstration], and a property or business owner wants a pair of experienced eyes ensuring if any damage occurs, the proper evidence is documented to ensure a swift course of legal action can be taken.
